The Lady Capitals put together a third straight win with a dominant performance Tuesday night over Chester High School. Tabria Pearce, the Lady Caps’ senior captain and forward, cemented her place as Columbia’s 2nd leading scorer in school history with another two goals on the night. Naome Masembe had a pair of assists on the night that helped generate a relentless attack in the first half. Chester loaded their forwards in the second half, forcing Columbia into a defensive formation. Junior keeper, Arriyanna Perry produced a shutout for the Lady Caps and displayed confident decision making and quick reactions that shut down all attempts of the Chester attack. Columbia ends the regular season next week when the travel to Richland Northeast for a rematch of a close 0-2 bout to start the season. The Lady Caps intend on extending their winning streak to four.
