The Lady Capitals suffered a tough defeat against a very talented Mid-Carolina side Wednesday night. After playing possibly the best first half of soccer Columbia had put together all year, four sudden injuries/illnesses to the starting line-up led at the beginning of the 2nd half led to an eventual collapse. Columbia played hard fought soccer, but allowed a disappointing 5 goals in the final 15 minutes of play. The Lady Capitals will use the remainder of the week to adjust, heal, and improve as they continue region play with Gray Collegiate next week, and the first match of the year against Lower Richland. Come out and support the Lady Capitals as they rebound towards victory.
