Game Recap

The Lady Capitals edged out region rival, Fairfield Central, in a 2-1 match Tuesday night. CHS came out flat footed and allowed FCHS to take an early lead from a quick chip goal over the keeper. The Lady Caps rebounded with sophomore forward, Aye Paw, following up a shot from center-mid, Christ Bible, for the game tying goal. To end the first half, center back Cruz Escobedo got her second goal of the season off of a set piece. The Capitals did not take advantage of numerous goal scoring opportunities, which forced the game to go to the wire in the second half. This win puts CHS at 2-2 for the season, and 1-1 in the region. The Lady Caps look to get win three this Friday against region foe Indian Land, at Columbia College, for a 6:00pm home game. Come out and support!
