Meet Recap

Columbia High’s first race of the year showed many improvements in comparison to last year’s beginning times, but the Capitals still have many races ahead to improve scores. Juniors Tariq Copeland led the Varsity Boys with a 14th place finish at the race, with Tyrese Blocker, Michael Mathews, Ladarius Taylor, and Jaylen McClary rounding out the top five runners for the Caps. Columbia High looks to improve at the Lake Murray Invitational next Saturday, Sept. 17th, and Crooked Creek State Park.
